Brown Group of Companies Summer Outing 2012

Yesterday, together with about 100-200 people, my dad, sister, and I, went to Midway White Beach Resort in Initao (that’s 1 1/2 hours away from Cagayan de Oro) to join my parents’ company’s summer outing.

We woke up early and we packed everything and then went to Dunkin’ to meet the other people. They were a lot of buses and vans when we got there. We then traveled for about an hour and a half until we finally arrived at our destination. The place was so big, and the sand was white, and the water was so clear, and I loved it!

The employees. Mehehehe. There were 3 teams for the games, by the way. The green, orange, and pink team. My dad’s on the green team. My mom’s t-shirt was orange, but she didn’t go with us (because she still had work, she said :( ).

Me. Lul. I don’t know what pose this is. Uhm, maybe it’s I-believe-I-can-fly pose. LOL okaaaaaaaaay.

Zipline. That’s not me, btw. I tried that one though. Climbing the high ladder is scarier than, uhm, ziplining (? lol I don’t what the term is, sorry!). I had a little accident, but I don’t want to talk about it. Mehehehe. Let’s just say that my glove was destroyed because of my stupidity. And thank God that my fingers are still intact. :D

I did nothing all morning but swim (and float LOL). I love floating, OKAY?! :)

Cutie patootie. I took a lot of pictures of her, not knowing that she was actually the granddaughter of the company’s president. HAHAHAHA.

Llerbear. *U* I like writing stuff on sand. :)

5/15/12: Happy Birthday, Sam’s Dad!

Last May 15, Charie and I went to Sentro after Sam invited us over to her dad’s birthday party.

I really thought that I was going there alone, since Jekko texted me that he wouldn’t be going because he still had somewhere to go to. Charie, on the other hand, wasn’t answering my texts. I was really worried, because I didn’t want to go to the party alone because I was shy, LOL. Anyway, I thought of a brilliant idea that solved my problem — I would go to Charie’s house and pick her up, so that she’d have no choice but to go wih me. BWAHAHAHAHA.

And so I did.

Her mouth was hanging open when she saw me outside her house. HAHAHAHA! I am now very aware that I’m a kind of person who loves making surprise visits. She let me in and she told me that she was really planning on going to Sam’s dad’s party, but she decided not to because Jekko wasn’t going and she thought that I would be fine (EFF YOU, CHARIEEEEE!!! HAHAHAHA!). I also found out that she  has a new number, hence not replying to my texts. Charie immediately asked permission from her dad to go out with me, and I waited while she took a bath and stuff. While waiting, her handsome brother (LOLOLOL. Perv :p) arrived and turned the fan and the TV on for me. LOL. I was like, “It’s okay! It’s okay!” but inside, I was pleased. LOL. [Note: Charie’s brother is handsome but I’m not crushing on him. I just like handsome guys. LOL. I mean, who doesn’t?]

Charie and I then went to Sentro and when we arrived there, we found out that Sam wasn’t there yet. Some of her relatives and their friends were there. We waited and Charie and I pretended to talk just so it wouldn’t be awkward. LOL awkwaaard. A few minutes later, Sam’s dad arrived and he was surprised to see us, since it was a ~*surprise*~ party. It was awkward because we were like, “Happy….” and we didn’t continue the song (for some reason I don’t know). We sat again and waited for Sam and her sister.

Yesterday was, so far, the best Sunday of my life.

We woke up early because we would be going to the beach. I was so excited, because we rarely go to beaches or family outings. Having outings is just not our thing because my parents are always busy or my sister and I are too lazy to have an outing. Anyway, we packed our clothes and food and we made sure everything was in the right place. We left our house at around 7am and we arrived at the beach in an hour.

We went to Son Risa Vista and yep, that’s the same beach our section went for our farewell party. My parents chose this beach because they didn’t want to go to far places like Opol, and I had no choice. I didn’t regret going to this beach, though, because there were only a few people and the water was not dirty.

We picked a cottage and my sister and I settled down and ate snacks we brought while Mom and Dad sat in the water under an umbrella (see 2nd picture). I was smiling while I was watching them because they were so sweet and I told my sister, “Uy, tingnan mo yung dalawang matanda oh!” My dad and mom were laughing and that made very happy. After a few minutes, my parents went back to our cottage and it was my sister and I’s turn to swim! We swam for a few minutes until Mom decided to join us.

I was so surprised when I saw my mom swimming. I didn’t know she could swim! She swam in different styles and I guffawed so hard because I was too surprised and because she looked like a dog swimming. HAHAHHA! My sister, my mom, and I swam for hours until our bodies got exhausted. It was really fun and we were really happy. Mom even let me hug her while we were in the water. She rarely lets me hug her because she’s not an affectionate person. Dad was in the cottage, sleeping, even though he was actually supposed to guard the cottage.

We ate, we swam, we relaxed. We went home at around noon and everyone was in good mood. My arms and legs started aching and I went to bed to rest. When I woke up, my mother was already calling me to get ready to go to church.

It was one of the happiest days of my life. Seeing my parents happy and laughing made me happy. It was an extraordinary Sunday for me because not all Sundays are like that. I love my family. ♥

Happy Easter, everyone!

When I was little, I used to participate in Easter egg hunts — festivities where people look for decorated eggs hidden in different places. I really don’t know how eggs are related to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but egg hunts are really fun. XE, where my dad works, prepares Easter egg hunts every year, and I (when I was little) joined only because of its free swimming after the hunt. So honestly speaking, I wanted swimming more than hunting for eggs. Haha.

Finding the eggs was never easy, because they were hidden in the most unexpected places — under the bushes, inside the lamp posts, inside the washroom, you name it. I was a very lousy kid back then, and I was never good with my eyes. I never won any place in egg hunts, but I remember my sister winning once. But I tell you, finding an egg is like winning in Tetris battles, nonstop.

Easter egg hunts are really fun, but we must also remember that the true meaning of Easter Sunday is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let us celebrate!

Bonding with Friends

Ahhh, this has been a rough but very fun day. I’m so happy because we were successful in shooting a video for our World History project, even though our day didn’t actually go as planned.

Our morning was a “hot” morning. The principal found out about our plan of going to the Cagayan River (a parent of a 1st year student complained and bla bla, and nadamay kami), and he wouldn’t let us go there without a teacher’s company. We had some parents with us, but we had no teacher. Our adviser, Sir Al Bal, was there and he talked to us and everything. He couldn’t go with us because he was very busy and he already had his schedule of activities. We wanted to break rules and go to the river (we don’t actually care about getting sanctions), but we also thought of Teacher Jo, our WH teacher. We couldn’t find a teacher, so we decided not to go. We paid the jeepney driver who had been waiting for so long. People were cussing and tensed. I am one of these people. I was very stressed because we already planned a lot for this trip and we had to finish the project ASAP. We were very excited these past few days and we didn’t expect this to happen.

But then an idea came up, and boom! We were able to shoot our video! I won’t tell how we did it because I’m not really sure if I’m allowed to tell. The plan was very effective and I believe we didn’t break any school rules. We were able to shoot 80% of our video, and we all did a good job. ^_^ The class ate lunch together and that was a first. We went to different places and we didn’t mind getting sunburn.

After our activity, Charie and I went to a mall to buy a box for her gift. I went home around 6pm. I collapsed into my bed immediately because I was so freaking tired. I slept for 2 hours, and I felt good.

This day has been great. Our section had a wonderful bonding and I learned a lot of lessons. My classmates are so awesome. \m/

A Day with Sam

I’m gonna post this now, since the Internet connection had been so slooooow last night, and now it’s fast! There’s no reassurance whether the connection’s gonna be fast later or not, so yeah.

Last December 21 (Yes, I remember the date. We were supposed to watch ‘Utokay’ before buying a book. Too bad it was postponed due to typhoon Sendong), Sam and I went out to buy Matched! :) She was, as usual, late. I waited for almost one hour. Can you believe that?! HAHA.

Sam texted me, saying that I should already wake up because it’s already 11. I was already awake, Sam! And I was not late! ;p

That’s Sam. We were done paying for Matched, and we were going to get the book wrapped.

She’s an endorser of Whisper, btw.

Uhmm, we wrote on a card, pretending that our boyfriends gave the book to us. HAHAHAHA :)) But wait, don’t get us wrong. The card may be fake, but our boyfriends are not. We have real boyfriends, beybeh! ;p My boyfriend is Kyle and Sam’s is Mr. Crush. Mr. Crush should have been Mr. Boyfriend, but he insisted that Sam should keep calling him ‘Mr. Crush’ because he liked the name. HAHA :)

That’s us. Don’t mind my face. :)

Sam wore a DRESS, btw. She’s so girly and purrrrddyyy :3

That day was fun, fun, fun. Sam lent me two books. I’m so disappointed because I forgot to give her my letter. -_-” I spent 30 minutes writing it Sam! >< HUHUHU.

FEATURED FRIEND OF THE WEEK

I had been thinking about posting a “featured friend of the week” on a Friday for uhmm, fun. XD I told Sam about it and she thought that it was a good idea. It took me weeks to decide who my first featured friend of the week is (I didn’t want Sam to be the first because I always mention her in my posts and you might get bored LOL), and I gave up. So I have chosen Sam to be my first featured friend! XD K! :)

Name: Samantha Isabelle Hernandez Bagayas

Age: 14

Birthday: March 13, 1997

Hobbies: reading, writing, looking at crush, talking about crush, chika-ing

Sam is actually my bestfriend. We have been friends for three years and we never separated (unlike some of my other bestfriends). She’s pretty, hardworking, smart, and aweSAM. I’m not lying or something. She really is a great person and she doesn’t judge people (well sometimes she does). She is very understanding and patient. She is loyal to her crush and she is really good in writing.

She is very sensitive, I swear. She’s scary sometimes. She loves books so much and she aspires to become a writer someday. She has really big dreams, but there’s no doubt she can achieve them all. That is, if she’ll stop her laziness. Mehehe.

Among my bestfriends, she’s the only one who has a Tumblr, and I’m so happy for that. I introduced Tumblr to her last year and I am glad that she really liked it. I had no one to talk to about Tumblr stuff before she signed up. I don’t know, but I don’t talk about Tumblr even in front of my bestfriends.

SAM IS AWESOME BECAUSE:

  • She’s loyal to her crush.
  • She writes and speaks English very well.
  • She is very understanding, and she always listens.
  • She’s funny (but most of the time she’s corny. HAHA JK!).
  • She’s simple, and she’s not a bitch.
  • Joke. She’s a bitch pala. HAHA.
  • I am comfortable with her. We can relate to each other (We’re both awkward).
  • She has all the qualities of a good friend. And she’s not just a friend. She’s my sister, my partner in crime, my bestfriend, my everything. Char.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

Awesome Saturday

JGH from school. This is an awesome day! :) I woke up at 11 am, and that means that I had a lot of sleep. I needed to sleep more because I have been sleeping from 12 midnight to 3am these past few days. I’m so happy because there were no pratices or something in the morning.

I went to school after lunch. We practiced for our choral reading. We had a successful practice.  Charie was also there and we ate snacks together while I was talking about LC, my new crush. XD She was so kilig when I told her about the thing that happened yesterday. XD After that, I just sat on the bench with Sam and Iris, while waiting for nothing. Charie already left. Paula and friends invited me to go with them to XU library so that we could do some research. I refused to go because Charie had threatened me not to go to XU library without her or else she would kill me. XD She even cursed me that I will never get any info if I go to a library today. XD Eff you Charie. If you haven’t threatened me, I should probably be done with my research by now.

The best part of the day was when I went to the gym in front of our school to watch a volleyball game. You know that I really love watching volleyball. I mean, the team in our school is very good. I watched the game between our school and another school from Tagoloan. Tagoloan is some place outside Cagayan de Oro, but it’s still in Misamis Oriental. The players were boys. Anyway, my throat hurts because I have been shouting. HAHAHA. Everytime the rival gets a point, I shout like it’s the end of my life. XD The Tagoloan Tigers (yes, that’s the name of their team) won the first set, and our school won the 2nd and 3rd set. The players in our school’s team were so “gigl,” while their captain was very calm. They were all good, especially their captain. I was really really happy, and I was shouting like there’s no tomorrow. I watched the game with Kristine, Edrei, Ica, Keileen, and others. It was fun. :D

I am a bit disappointed because my crush wasn’t in school today. His barkada was there, but he wasn’t. :( I expected to see him in school because he is usually in school on Saturdays. -_-” But it’s okay. XD

Good Saturday is rare. Cheers to that! :)

Breaking Dawn

JGH from SM. Sam and I watched Breaking Dawn. Uhh well, it was okay. Like Sam, I don’t really know if I like it or not. There are parts that I like (DON’T THINK ABOUT THE SEX PART ONLY OKAY), but most parts of the movie are boring. Mehehe :)) I’m not really impressed, by I’m not disappointed either.

<— Don’t read the words below because they’re not BD related. But you can if you want to —>

Sam and I were to meet at 2:30. I arrived at school at 1pm and we had our practice in choral reading. It was already 2:30, and we were still practicing, and I’m glad that Sam hadn’t arrived yet. But when it was already 3 pm, I began to panick. Did Sam change her mind? Isn’t she coming after all? Did she have an emergency? Those questions filled my mind. Sam arrived at 3:10 and we were not done practicing yet. Sam told me that her brother was waiting outside, since her brother will drive us to SM. So I escaped our practice and I went off with Sam. When we got into their car, Pia was also there. HAHAHAHA. I think that Pia’s really a genius (and a chismosa) because when I asked Sam if her siblings were going to watch with us (IN SIGN LANGUAGE), Pia turned to us and said YES! I was like, WTF? How did she know what I was saying? I didn’t even say it aloud or whisper it. O_O Scary.

When Sam and I arrived at SM, I realize that her siblings were not going with us after all. Mehehe :D It was already 3:30, and we were to watch BD @ 4:06. We hurried to buy snacks. We bought only a few snacks because we paid 140 each for BD. WTF, 140. With brownie chuva. -_- WTF. Sam and I went to the grocery to buy our drinks. We also bought popcorn. We were running like crazy back to Cinema 4 because it was already 3:45 and we were sure that there were many people already.

<—The things written below are now BD-related. HAHAHAH —->

We arrived at the moviehouse @3:50. There were already a lot of people in the upper level. Luckily, we were able to find a good spot in the upper level. I hate it because there was no THG trailer before the movie. THE EFF HAHAHA.

Breaking Dawn is, again, okay. I really like the place where Bella and Edward had their honeymoon. I expected more in the honeymoon scene. I was disappointed, lol. Mehehe. Bella and Edward kissed a million times (as expected). I like the last part. And most parts were uhmm, fine.

I really hate the girl beside me (I mean the girl on my right side, not Sam). She was so FREAKING NOISY AND SHE COULDN’T STOP TALKING. I swear, I really wanted to punch her in the face. She was talking to her friends and I heard a lot of spoilers! Fvck her. These are the things I whispered to Sam:

  • Fuck them. Fuck them. Fuck them.
  • Can they just shut the fuck up and just enjoy the movie?!
  • Ugh Sam. Fuck her.

I really hate her! And when a friend of hers said “You’re such a spoiler!” I turned my head to Sam and said “TAMA!” loud enough for the bitch beside me to hear.

Breaking Dawn was okay. I can’t wait for the Hunger Games movie! :D

The day when Jekko got caught and got handcuffed with a beautiful girl :3

Ayun, I asked Sam to take a picture of us. “Jekko, SMILE!” at nagsmile naman siya. Lels.

^ 1st consequence

^That’s Sam and Charie. Nandun din sila sa loob ng room to watch and support (?) Jekko. HAHAHAHA! Because we’re supportive bestfriends! XD

Lels. Too bad hindi kami nakapapicture. D: Pero okay lang, HAHAHA! :D

See you soon, Jekko! :D

That feeling when you have so much to talk about but you’re too tired to talk about it :/

A lot of great things happened today, and I’m too tired to talk about them. But since I’m here and I want to make kwento, I’ll make kwento nalang. Lol.

So yeah, a lot of things happened today. We had our review for the NCAE on Wednesday, and we made our projects. Math A period was really fun because our pizza was finally delivered! :D Yay! :D The pizza was our prize from our teacher, Sir Jigs, because we were able to answer his trivia. We were very happy, because we all love pizza! :D I’m sure that Sir Jigs had a little regret about the trivia, because he spent more than Php1,000 for our pizza. It’s okay Sir Jigs! :D More trivia! More trivia! :D HAHAHAHA :)) I’m still waiting for Nikki’s pictures of what happened this lunch, because I’m planning to write a separate post about our pizza. *u*

And we also had our general assembly. I was the one who led the Pambansang Awit. It was embarrassing. I’m not embarrassed because I did a mistake or something, but because Sam and some of my classmates said that my hands were too graceful. I don’t want my hands to be graceful! Shets! They said that I did the beating very well, but I don’t believe them. It was a bit scary to stand in front of all the students and lead, lol. I was really nervous when Hannah finished saying the prayer and while I was walking to the center of the stage. But when the song started and I started moving my hands and chuva, my nervousness flew away and I was like “Oh bitches. Don’t look at me.” and “Hmm. When will this song end? It’s been a century.” Lol.

(To be continued…)

Hello.

So kararating ko lang galing sa school. Today is an unproductive day kasi wala kaming masyadong nagawa. We watched the volleyball games (boys) instead of doing our projects. Pero okay lang because it was all worth it. :D Ang galing niya pramis. Everytime he does something very amazing, we would all shout “Woo! Woo! Woo!” :)

So I had a very unproductive morning.

Proud :D

Wala kaming masyadong nagawa, so we decided to bring our project home. Tamang tama kasi wala kaming assignments o LT sa Monday, so we have all the time to finish our project. :D

Hello! :)

Templars Mini Competition

This happened last Friday night. :) Ngayon ko lang ikwekwento kasi tinamad akong magkwento the past few days. At tsaka umaga ngayon, at wala masyadong online :bd I don’t know, pero minsan mas gusto kong mag blog kapag konti lang ang online. HAHAHA :)

So sa pyramidic question, the 1st parts of the question sounds like shit and out of the world. Napapa “What the hell is that?!” ka subalit nagiging clearer na ang tanong habang tumatagal. Basta, yun na yun!

So ayun nga. One-to-one. 10 kami nun, so 5 pairs ang maglalaban. Those 5 pairs are:

  • James (3rd yr) vs JD (4th yr)
  • Me (3rd yr) vs Ate Xyryl (4th yr)
  • Jay-r (3rd yr) vs Ate Sheryl (4th yr)
  • Jadon (3rd yr) vs Ate Tzen (4th yr)
  • Keith (4th yr) vs GRAND Michael (4th yr)

:D Pero she looks mabait naman :)

Everytime nagtatanong na si Sir Carlo, the audience was going like mad! Nakaka pressure! Nagwa-wild sila kasi alam nila ang sagot at kami naman ni Ate Xyryl were like “How come you know and we don’t?!” Lels. :D

So natapos na nga ang labanan namin. The next pair comes in, then next, and so on and so forth.

Nag enjoy ako at marami akong natutunan. Ang saya kapag sumisigaw ako ng “Hoy! Ang dali lang yan shet!” ..

Ang galing talaga nila, they were very competitive.

  • James vs JD ; Champion: James
  • Me vs Ate Xyryl ; Champion: Me
  • Jay-r vs Ate Sheryl ; Champion: Jay-r
  • Jadon vs Ate Tzen ; Champion: Jadon
  • Keith vs GRAND Michael ; Champion: GRAND Michael

This is in preparation for our competition this coming October 21 (my birthday!). Inter-Templars lang naman. Lels. They were like 14-17 of us (kasi yung iba absent nung Friday) and imagine being winner. Yayaman ka na! LOL.

Good morning! :D
